President and CEO

With 42 years of experience in the industry, former proprietor of Hart Painting Company and mid-Michigan native Terry “T.L.” Hart is perfectly positioned to lead our company to even greater success. His vision is to direct the business in a way that is meaningful in terms of his beliefs and that benefits employees, clients and our community’s environment alike.

Terry attended Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. John's, MI and then earned his associates degree from Lansing Community College. With numerous training and management seminars to his name, Terry is also a former board member and past president of the Central Michigan Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, past president of the Michigan Council Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) and a former National Board Member of PDCA. Currently Terry is the secretary/treasurer of the Michigan Council PDCA.

When he’s not busy overseeing T. L. Hart Terry can be found spending time with his wife and family, reading, writing, engaging in church related activities and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Paul is the man behind some of T. L. Hart’s most ambitious and successful projects. With 31 years of experience in the industry, Paul applies his wealth of knowledge to his role which encompasses sales, quoting for estimates and project management.

With an education that saw Paul graduating from Howell High School and Central Michigan University, and previous experience that includes working at Parker-Camden Painting, Paul is the man to speak to should you have any queries about a prospective project.

When he’s not juggling his multiple roles at T. L. Hart you can find Paul practising his swing on the golf course and coaching his daughter’s basketball team.

Barbara Hart

Barbara Hart

Office Manager

Barbara is the lady who keeps everything under control in the T. L. Hart office, no matter how hectic things get. She’s kept busy by being responsible for our accounts and human resources departments as well as being our administrative assistant.

With an associates degree gained in college and a Notary Republic certification, Barbara is also trained in Quickbooks accounting software. She has 20 years of experience in the workplace and before joining T. L. Hart, was a teacher at NCCS and an assistant teacher at the Michigan School for the Blind.

When she finds time to relax Barbara loves reading and sewing as well as spending some quality time with her family and friends.
